Calculator inputs

Salary figures, dates of birth, draft text, passwords you generate, colors, and QR payloads are processed in your browser. We do not upload those values to our servers and we do not keep a history of them. Closing the tab clears the page state. If you email us a screenshot or paste numbers into a message, that content is then in email, not in the calculator.

Information we may collect

Hosting and analytics providers (for example Cloudflare and, if enabled later, privacy-aware analytics) may log technical data such as IP address, browser type, referring URL, and pages visited. We use that data to keep the site up, debug errors, and understand which tools are useful. We do not sell a list of your calculator inputs because we do not have one.

If you write to hello@kindcalc.com, we receive whatever you put in the message so we can reply.

Google AdSense and cookies

KindCalc uses Google AdSense to display advertisements after the publisher account is approved. Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads on this site. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.

Users may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. Alternatively, you can opt out of some third-party vendor cookies by visiting aboutads.info.

Third-party vendors, including Google, may show ads on KindCalc. We implement Google's advertising programs in line with AdSense policies: ads are not placed inside calculator controls, and we do not encourage accidental clicks. Google may use data collected through advertising cookies and similar technologies as described in the Google Advertising Privacy policy and Google Privacy Policy.

If you visit from the European Economic Area, UK, or other regions that require consent for personalized ads, we intend to use Google Consent Mode or an equivalent consent mechanism so that non-essential advertising cookies run only after a choice. Until that banner is live, treat advertising cookies as described by Google's own notices.

Cookies we set

The core calculators do not require an account cookie. Advertising, consent, and hosting platforms may set their own cookies. You can block cookies in your browser; some ads may then be less relevant or fail to appear.

Children

The site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. GPA and homework tools may be used by older students; we still do not store their grades.
